STAUNTON, Va. - The Mary Baldwin women's tennis team hosted the Golden Acorn Individual tournament Saturday and the Squirrels claimed both the singles and doubles titles.
MBU hosted players from Ferrum College and Patrick Henry Community College.
MBU's Katlyn Massie won the singles title, Massie defeated her MBU teammate Hannah Eastridge 6-3 to claim the singles crown.
Massie teamed up with Izzy Humble to win the doubles draw. The duo defeated MBU teammates Eastridge and Virani Bhagat 6-4 in the title match.
