
LEXINGTON, Va. -Mary Baldwinn dropped a non-conference road game Thursday afternoon, falling to Washington and Lee 22-7.
Noah Kessler led the Squirrels offense, going 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and four RBIs. Michael Robertson was 2-for-2 with a double and one run batted in. Tucker Hensley finished the day 2-for-4 and Ty Webster was 2-for-3 at the plate.
MBU fell behind 13-0 after two innings, but battled back with two runs in the third inning and three more in the fourth ro close the margin to 13-5..
In the third, Robertson reached on a one-out double and scored on a single by Kessler.
The Squirrels loeaded the bases in the fourth with one out on singles by Jacob Cude, Blake French and Ty Webster. Robertson placed a run with a sacrifice fly and Kessler chased home two runs with a double.
