STAUNTON, Va. - Southern Virginia took both ends of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon from Mary Baldwin, winning the opener 18-6 and the second game 19-6 at John Moxie Stadium.

SVU finished with 18 hits in the first game to pull away from the Squirrels. Mary Baldwin had 15 hits, but the Squirrels left nine runners on base.

In the second game the Knights added 17 more hits while the MBU basts cooled off with just six hits.

Colby Cheatham was 3-for-4 in the first game with two RBIs. Josh Lallo, Noah Kessler, Dylan Rankin, Tyler Morley and Lucas Chinault added two hits apeice to the Squirrels' offense.

The two teams will play again on Tuesday in Buena Vista.
