MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Pfeiffer took game 1 of the 3-game series from Mary Baldwin, blanking the Squirrels 12-0 Friday evening.

The Falcons silenced the Squirrels, limiting MBU to five hits and keeping the visitors scoreless.

MBU played solid defense, committing no erros in the contest, but Pfeiffer took advantage of 11 hits and 11 walks to ill away for the win.

The two teams meet again Saturday in a doubleheader to complete the hree-game series.
