Mary Baldwin catcher Josh Lallo was a second-team selection on the USA South Athletic Conference Baseball Team released Thursday. Lallo is the first all-conference selection in program history.

Lallo, a grad student playing his first season at Mary Baldwin, hit for a .343 verage with 14 RBIs and a team-best five homers. Against conference foes, Lallo hit for a robust .385 average.

"Josh has made an immediate impact on our program since the first day he arrived on our campus," said MBU head baseball coach Soctt Hearn. "His personality, his work ethic, his desire and his dediication to the game and his teammates is top notch. I could not be more proud of Josh as a player or a man. I'm extremely grateful and honored to have Josh represent our program."
