
STAUNTON, Va. - The Mary Baldwin men's soccer team lost to Division 1 Virginia Military Institute. 2-0, Tuesday afternoon to drop to 2-4-1 on the season.
VMI scored a goal in both halves Tuesday afternoon after outpacing the Squirrels on offense. VMI lead in shots 16-10 and corners 4-0. VMI Sophomore goalkeeper Connor Cherry had 3 saves in the game.
MAry Baldwin's Alexis Barber tallied three shots and one shot on goal for the Squirrels.
Mary Baldwin now looks ahead to its first conference game of the season Friday, Sept. 30 at Methodist. Methodist is 4-1-3 and the game against Mary Baldwin will be their first conference game of the season.
