SALEM, Va. - Mary Baldwin's indoor track teams participated at the Baset Cregger Invitational hosted Saturday by Roanoke College.

The MBU woemn posted two top five efforts at the meet. Kaitlin Bower had a best effort of 10.06meters to place fourth in the triple jump and teammate Kayla Richardson had a best throw of 10.14 meters to take fifth place in the shot put.

Also participating in the shot were Jamyah Crawford (9.42m), Isabel Basilis (8.33m) and Nyasia Hawkins (7.52m).

Quierra Hawkins turned in a time of 28.48 seconds in the 200 meters.

For the men, Elijah Butler had a solid effort of 12.12 meters to place eighth in the triple jump. Butler also jumped 5.75m in the long jump. Samarion Rush posted a best of 4.76m in the long jump.

Christopher Kirksey paced the Squirrels in the 200 meters, running 23.08. Steven Santiago posted a time of 23.79 and Jordan Wright ran 25.01.

Jonathan Ramirez had a best throw of 9.51m in the shot put.
