LAGRANGE, GA - LaGrange College used a balanced scoring attack to defeat Mary Baldwin College 84-36 this afternoon in USA South action.

The Panther's jumped out to an 8-0 lead and built that lead to 10 at the end of the first quarter.  LaGrange then tightened their defense and held Mary Baldwin to just 22 points in the final 30 minutes of play.  The home team shot over 50% from the floor scoring 32 points in the paint. 

LaGrange's balanced attack was led by Marilauren Farr and Lauren Johnson who tallied 9 points each.  Farr and Shenelle Toxen grabbed 6 rebounds each.

Kaybria Johnson again led Mary Baldwin with 16 points while Juanaysa Singlatetary added 10.  Teanna Peavy finished with 6 rebounds.

Mary Baldwin College 0-15 (0-7 USAS) return home to host Covenant College Friday afternoon.
