STAUNTON, Va. - Christendom outscored Mary Baldwin 19-6 in the second quarter to lead 35-19 at the half and the Crusaders went on to defeat the Fighting Squirrels 66-46 in non-conference women's basketball action Wednesday evening.

Mekayla Clarke posted a double-double to lead the Squirrels, finishing with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Cody Heileg also turned in a solid performance with 16 points and six boards.

MBU returns to action Saturday when it opens conference play with a home game against Pfeiffer.
