WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Mary Baldwin University soccer team traveled to Washington, D.C. this afternoon to take on Gallaudet in a non-conference matchup. The Bison won 4-0.
Brittany Mallach earned a hat trick scoring all three of her goals in the first half. Mallach put the home team on the scoreboard 5:46 into the game. Her second goal came off of a pass from Deltona Markel while the third was assisted by Elizabeth Dagg. The home team's final goal came in the second half off of a corner kick. It was scored by Katie Bentz.
Galludet outshot Mary Baldwin 14-3 and finished with 5 corner kicks to Mary Baldwin's 3.
Brittany Tenn, the Fighting Squirrels' goalkeeper, tallied 7 saves.
Mary Baldwin University, 0-4, continue play on Wednesday when they host Sweet Briar.
