
STAUNTON, Va. - The Mary Baldwin women's soccer team lost a tough 1-0 decision to Berry on Sunday afternoon. Berry scored 20 minutes into the 1st half and held the lead for the rest of the game.

Berry held the edge on offense with a 22-9 margin in shots and a 10-1 edge in corners
Mary Baldwin showed a strong defensive effort highlighted by junior keeper Anyka Wilkin. She tallied a season-high 12 saves to keep the lead to one goal.
Mary Baldwin, now 3-1-1, returns to action Thursday (9/15) when they will be hosting Sweet Briar.
