FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Methodist scored two goals in the first 10 minutes Saturday and the Monarchs blanked Mary Baldwin 3-0 in USA South women's soccer action.
Methodist, still unbeaten in conference play with a 5-0 record, held a 22-9 edge in shots over the Squirrels.
MBU keeper Anyka Wilkin recorded eight saves in the contest. Sara Gruntowicxz had MBU's lone shot on goal.
The Squirrels, now 7-4-1 overall and 1-2 in the conference, will look to break their two-game losing streak when they Greensboro College on Tueday.
