Mary Baldwin sophomore Sara Gruntowicz has been honored as USA South Women's Soccer Player of the Week by the conference office.

The Fighting Squirrels' midfielder/forward scored twice with two assists as the Fighting Squirrels posted a 3-0 record last week against USA South opposition. In a 5-1 win over Greensboro, Gruntowicz scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 55th minute. In a 2-1 victory over William Peace, Gruntowicz assisted on the game-winning goal in the 62nd minute. Finally, in a 5-0 victory over Meredith, Gruntowicz scored once while also adding an assist.
