The Mary Baldwin women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match Friday afternoon to Lynchburg College by a score of 9-0.

Lynchburg started the day by sweeping the three double matches. The Mary Baldwin duo of Kelly Bantel and Gretchen Lutz played a solid match at No. 3 doubles before losing to Lynchburg's Mimi Oliver and Emma Pinola 8-4.

The Hornets then closed out the match by winning the six singles matches, all in straight sets.

Mary Baldwin is back in action Wednesday when the Fighting Squirrels host Greensboro in conference play.
