STAUNTON, Va. - Marymount led 2-1 at the conclusion of doubles play and the Saints went on to defeat Mary Baldwin 6-3 Wednesday afternoon in women's tennis action.
MBU picked up its doubles point at the No. 1 slot where Katlyn Massie and Gretchen Lutz edged Marymount's Shannon King and Arlane Kombou 8-7.
The Fighting Squirrels added two wins in singles play. Lutz took a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Kombou at No. 2 singles and MBU teammate Hannah Eastridge stopped Lili Szobacsi 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 3 slot.
