FISHERSVILLE, Va. - Mary Baldwin hosted the Golden Acorn Cross Country Invitational on Friday at MBU's Murphy Deming campus in Fishersville.

Brendan Plogger paced the MBU men with a time of 21:36.0, good for ninth place. Jake English was next for the Squirrels with a time of 23:05.2. Connor Hockman (24:44.6), Christopher Kirksey (25:16.9) and Din Rayche (26:00.3) rounded out the MBU scoring effort.

Four MBU women ran as individuals. First across the line was Brianna  Parker with a time of 28:55.5, just ahead of teammate Cloey Mazingo with a time of 29:15.7. Johannah Dillaway (29:24.9) and Anastasia Bunting (34:38.1) also competed for the Squirrels.
