Dr. B. Kent Diduch, MD FAAFP, joined the Mary Baldwin university staff in 2018 as an associate professor at the Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences and as the MBU team physician.
Prior to joining the staff at MBU, Diduch taught at James Maison University for 12 years in athletic training classes as well as physician assistant courses. He was also the medical director of the athletic training education program and served as the primary care team physician for athletics and a staff physician at the universtiy health center.
Dr. Diduch previously worked as a family physician in Bridgewater and Weyers Cave for nearly 13 years before transitioning to collegiate work. In addition to his familiy medicine work, he taught at Bridgewater College and the University of Virginia School of Medicine across the same time frame. He has 14 years of volunteer experience as he lended his time to Fort Defiance High School and the Rockingham/Harrisonburg Free Clinic and several years at the VHSL AA outdoor track & field championships.
In addition to his accolades in medicine, Dr. Diduch is also an accomplished author with six publications bearing his name as well as countless presentations all over the state.
A graduate of William and Mary and the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, Dr. Diduch is married to his wife, also a professor at Mary Baldwin, and together they have a daughter.
